RENTAL AGREEMENT
By accessing and utilizing the car and bike rental services provided by JOE CAR RENTALS, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

TIME POLICY:

The vehicle should be returned before 9.00am. Regardless of the time the vehicle is taken, it must be returned on the scheduled return day.
Kindly be aware that we do not follow a 24-hour rental system.
Charges remain consistent even if the vehicle is rented for a portion of the day.

DURATION OF RENTING VEHICLE:
The minimum booking period is 2 days for both cars and bikes.
The minimum booking period is 3 days from the airport/station.

ELIGIBILITY:
To rent a vehicle, you must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and meet any additional eligibility criteria set forth by JOE CAR RENTALS.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
Additional charges are applicable at the following pick-up & drop points: Panjim/Mapusa Bus Stop, Thivim/Karmali/Vasco Railway Station, and Dabolim/Mopa Airport.
Additional taxes will be applicable for online transactions.
Extra charges will apply if the vehicle is returned in poor condition or dirty. We appreciate your effort in maintaining the car’s cleanliness so that it isn’t a hassle for the next set of passengers.
In the event of delays in your arrival at the airport, railway station, or hotel, additional waiting charges are applicable.
After midnight, surcharges for the driver will be applicable.

RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION:
All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
Joe Car Rentals reserves the right to confirm or deny any reservation request.
Confirmation details will be provided upon successful reservation.

PAYMENT:
Payment for the rental service must be made in advance through the provided online payment methods.
Additional charges may apply for extended use, fuel, and any damages incurred during the rental period.

SECURITY:
Please ensure you provide an original photo ID with valid address proof.
License (2-wheeler and 4-wheeler for bikes and cars respectively) is compulsory.
To secure your rental, a refundable security deposit is necessary (the amount varies based on the vehicle).
Your security deposit or advance payment will be reimbursed upon vehicle return, following a thorough inspection by our team.

VEHICLE CONDITION:
The rented vehicle will be provided in good working condition, and it is the renter’s responsibility to return it in the same condition.
Any damages incurred during the rental period will be the renter’s financial responsibility.

VEHICLE RETURN INSTRUCTIONS:
To return the vehicle, kindly bring it to the designated location at the scheduled time.
Please note that late returns may result in additional charges.
Before handing over the vehicle to the driver, we strongly advise you to check for any belongings you may have left behind.
Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any items left in the vehicle.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS:
Joe Car Rentals will cover the costs of routine maintenance. However, renters are responsible for any repairs resulting from negligence or misuse during the rental period.

DAMAGE & CHARGES
It is advised that all the customers record a video of the vehicle before taking it in their custody. This is a proof of the state the car is in.
The customer will be charged for any accidental damage as per the showroom inspection.
Small dents or scratches will have to pay accordingly.

ACCIDENT OR BREAKDOWN:
In case of an accident or breakdown, contact customer support immediately. We will provide guidance on the necessary steps to be taken.

CANCELLATION & REFUND
No cancellations or refunds will be processed.

INSURANCE:
Joe Car Rentals provides insurance for major accident or damages. Small scratches, dents, and minor damage have to be covered by the renter.
It is the renter’s responsibility to understand the coverage and limitations provided.

USAGE RESTRICTIONS:
The rented vehicle must be used in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Prohibited activities include but are not limited to off-roading, racing, and transporting hazardous materials.

VEHICLE TERMS:
The car has to be returned with the same amount of fuel that was in the tank at the time of pick-up.
Lesser fuel will be chargeable.
More fuel is non-refundable.
Ensure to take a comprehensive video of the vehicle upon receiving it and forward it to the authorities in contact.
Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
Our rental service reserves the right to cancel the booking in case of any misconduct or violation of the terms.
It is prohibited to consume alcohol and operate the vehicle.
Responsible usage is highly appreciated. Treat the vehicle with care and responsibility, as if it were your own.
Avoid parking on roads; use designated parking spaces whenever possible.
No vehicles should be taken outside Goa without informing the management.
Additional charges will be applicable.

TERMINATION OF RENTAL:
Joe Car Rentals reserves the right to terminate a rental agreement if the renter violates any terms and conditions. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

PRIVACY POLICY:
By proceeding with the reservation and rental process, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
Joe Car Rentals reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
Joe Car Rentals respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the reservation process will only be used for rental-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties.
